(TSX / STATS) -- The Winnipeg Jets placed defenseman Toby Enstrom on injured reserve Sunday and the team announced he will miss up to eight weeks with a lower-body injury.

Enstrom was injured during Saturday's 5-2 win over the New Jersey Devils.

Enstrom, 33, has two assists and six penalty minutes in 19 games this season, his 11th with the franchise. The Swede is in the final season of a five-year, $28.75 million contract and will be a free agent at the end of the season.

Ovechkin bloodied as Caps end Wild's run

(TSX / STATS) -- WASHINGTON -- Coming off a two-game road trip where most everything went wrong, the Washington Capitals returned home and, at least for one game, set things right.

Blackhawks win eighth straight vs. Pens

(TSX / STATS) -- PITTSBURGH -- The Chicago Blackhawks could surely be forgiven if they held their collective breath Saturday night when No. 1 goaltender Corey Crawford was lying on his back next to his net after a collision.

And again when he left the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins a few minutes later after consulting with trainer Mike Gapski.

The New York Islanders hit them right in the bull's-eye on Saturday night.

Monahan has hat trick, Flames top Flyers

(TSX / STATS) -- PHILADELPHIA -- Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau took advantage of some undisciplined play by the Philadelphia Flyers.

Then, Michael Frolik finished off the comeback with an overtime goal to give the Calgary Flames a 5-4 win on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center.

Coyotes' Duclair caps hat trick in OT

(TSX / STATS) -- OTTAWA -- A healthy scratch for six of the last 11 games, Anthony Duclair made a good case for himself to be kept in the lineup on Saturday.

Three cases, actually.

Bruins' Khudobin beats Sharks again

(TSX / STATS) -- SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The Sharks' pop-gun offense continued its recent struggles as the Boston Bruins skated out of SAP Center with a 3-1 victory Saturday night.

San Jose managed 20 unproductive shots over the final two periods after putting 17 on goal in the opening 20 minutes as Bruins backup goalie Anton Khudobin beat San Jose the second time this season.

Rinne helps Predators defeat Avalanche

(TSX / STATS) -- NASHVILLE -- The Nashville Predators put their penalty kill to the test early and often Saturday night against one of the hottest scoring teams in the league, and the unit passed with flying colors.
